Speaker Profile

David Hananel

David Hananel completed his Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering in Berlin and his Bachelor of Arts, Computer Science from Illinois University.

David is currently Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at University of New Mexico, and is Director of Surgical Programs, METI, Florida.  He is involved in the development and implementation of Surgical Simulators.  He began his career as Project Engineer working on robotic simulation and at another Ohio company worked on process flow simulation.

David founded Product & Process Development consulting working with Ethicon Endo-Surgery before moving to Prossolvia Inc. in Michigan where he was Vice President of Medical Simulators.  He was President of Mentice Inc. assisting in the architecture of next generation simulators.
