Cenk Cavusoglu, PhD

M. Cenk Cavusoglu received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 1995, the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1997 and 2000.

He was a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences of the University of California, Berkeley, from 2000--2002.  He is now an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University.  He is also serving as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Robotics.

His research interests include robotics (medical robotics and haptics), virtual environments and computer graphics (surgical simulation and physical modeling), and systems and control theory.
